Our Services

Appointment & Onboarding

Upon completion of the competitive recruitment process, the Board makes formal appointment recommendations to the relevant county authority. Successful candidates are notified of their appointment through official letters specifying the position, grade, station, reporting date, and terms and conditions of service. Before reporting for duty, newly appointed officers are required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and to provide clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Credit Reference Bureau, and any other body required by law.

New officers are placed on probation for the period specified in their appointment letters, during which their performance and conduct are closely monitored and evaluated. Successful completion of the probationary period results in confirmation of appointment. The Board, in liaison with respective department heads, ensures that newly appointed officers receive proper induction and orientation to enable them to perform their duties effectively from the outset. All appointments are made in strict compliance with the provisions of the Constitution, the County Governments Act, and relevant public service regulations.
