Interviews & Assessments
Interviews are conducted by duly constituted Interview Panels comprising members with relevant expertise in the subject area of the position being filled. Panel members are required to declare any conflicts of interest before the interview process commences, and any panel member with a conflict of interest is recused. Interviews are structured and competency-based, designed to assess the candidate's technical knowledge, practical experience, leadership competencies, and alignment with the values of the County Public Service.
Shortlisted candidates are invited to interviews through official communication from the Board's Secretariat, specifying the date, time, venue, and documents required. Candidates are expected to present original copies of all academic and professional certificates for verification at the time of interview. The Board records interview scores and deliberations to maintain a transparent audit trail of all appointment decisions. Successful candidates are recommended to the relevant appointing authority in strict order of merit.
